I was giving in to my sadness... sinking,...erin...

I was giving in to my sadness... sinking, thinking of all the happiness that dog brought me, happiness I would never have again. Suddenly that old saying (a saying my cynical ass has never particularly cared for), 'it is better to have loved and to have lost than to have never loved at all', made sense. I thought, get up... get up and make new love. Wht wallow, when you can have more. Maybe it's not so much faith, as you said, that makes a man (or woman)keep on after tragedy. Maybe it's love (or faith in love.) Maybe we move from love, to love, to love, through life.

God, if we (I... you may already),could take less time to grieve, to begrudge, to vindicate, etc., and go straight to making new love... Ah, but that goes against the grain of traditional thought, doesn't it. Oh, well, I'm going to give it a whirl. I feel a puppy coming on.Steven Cainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00251773690801692907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8498536450964913359.post-80189577714862916732012-02-10T05:55:48.190-08:002012-02-10T05:55:48.190-08:00in spite of all the logic in the world...there is ...in spite of all the logic in the world...there is this pain.))

xo
erinerinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16636371927224076866noreply@blogger.com
